Giraffe Manor is an exclusive boutique hotel located in the Langata suburb on the outskirts of Nairobi, Kenya. Famous for its resident herd of endangered Rothschild’s giraffe, the property is set within 56 hectares of indigenous forest that supports a variety of wildlife.
Guests can interact closely with the giraffes, from hand-feeding and gentle petting to sharing breakfast as they wander freely around the grounds. Visits to the neighbouring AFEW Giraffe Centre provide further insight into this rare species, while guided walks in the sanctuary offer a closer look at the natural surroundings. Additional excursions include trips to the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, the Karen Blixen Museum, and the Marula Studios craft complex.
The manor features 12 individually styled en-suite rooms split between the original Manor House and the Garden Manor. Each room is furnished to accommodate both couples and families, with elegant interiors, art deco touches, and four-poster beds set within lush garden surroundings.
